"Most of all, when I call you to Holy Love, I am asking you to pray for an attitude of forgiveness. Forgiveness was preached to you from the Cross when My Son asked Me to forgive those who crucified Him. In everyday life, you may not see specific opportunities in which to forgive. But, it is enough to remember you need to forgive yourself for past sins of unforgiveness and past mortal sins which wounded Our Divine Hearts, as well as the heart of the world. The fact that everyone behaves uncharitably in their earthly life at some time calls for repentance in the present."

"To forgive means you recognize there are times when you loved sin more than you loved Me and My Son, and to seek forgiveness out of love. My Heart is always ready to forgive - always ready to love. Allow yourselves to be convicted in error so that you can practice forgiveness of self. This is just as important as forgiving others."

"Forgiveness opens the door to grace and makes your human heart more perfect in Holy Love and in My Sight."

Holy Love is the stepping stone to forgiveness

"Today, dear children, I wish to speak to you about reconciliation. This is My Mercy in action. To be reconciled takes humility and courage. You cannot be reconciled without first forgiving. You cannot forgive without first responding to My Call to live in Holy Love. Holy Love is the stepping stone to forgiveness. Forgiveness is the stepping stone to reconciliation. All of these have to come into play together, otherwise, reconciliation is only surface deep. Make the effort to strengthen the Holy Love in your hearts. Then you will strengthen all the other virtues."

There is no anger or unforgiveness in Heaven

"While you are still in the world, prepare your souls for Paradise. Hold no grudges in your heart. Forgive everyone - especially those who have done you the most harm. There is no anger or unforgiveness in Heaven - only perfect peace, love and joy. Unforgiveness stands in the way of many untold graces I wish to pour into the world. I cannot pour grace into a heart which is full of unforgiveness, resentment and anger - there is no room. This same unforgiveness promotes terrorism, aggression and persecution, all of which lead to war. Right reason finds no home in the unforgiving heart."

"On the Cross, My Son forgave his enemies. Imitate Him."

Make the effort to forgive those who bring bad memories to your heart

"Sometimes, there is so much spiritual stress in your world that you must make a moment-by-moment decision to follow the path of righteousness and live in Holy Love. I understand this. The distraction most unrecognized in your moment-to-moment choices is unforgiveness. Often times, the soul thinks he has forgiven all people that influenced his life, when in reality he carries grudges in his heart. These grudges affect his personal holiness, most especially if he does not recognize them."

"Make the effort to forgive those who bring bad memories to your heart. Ask the Holy Mother* for Her help. She, after all, had many people to forgive in Her life. She is waiting for you to ask. Once you forgive everyone, there is a clear path of grace between your heart and Mine. Do not allow bad memories to stand in the way of a deeper relationship with Me."

Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, and patience, forbearing one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And over all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful.
